Discover Finland: A Book A Day (2 week study)

Move over, Norway and Sweden, it’s time for Finland to have the spotlight!

New format: I’ve expanded each day to include a short blurb with background information to read aloud. These summaries align with the various subjects of music, literature, history, or science to provide more context for the story. In fact, you could discover so much about Finland without reading any of the recommended books!

Those eleven picture books, though… it just so happens that TEN of them are free to read online at archive.org. Wait, it gets better. I received permission to publish a YouTube readaloud of the eleventh one because it is an amazing book and difficult to find.

This is a two-week study, the first week focusing on the three southern regions of Finland. The second week is all Finnish Lapland/Samiland.
