Cooking is one of those relentless things, and all the more when you have a family of six at home for all meals, every day. For me, cooking went from boring to broadening when I started researching and cooking the food of the country that we were studying. It makes it memorable for the kids, even if I only cook one meal at the end of the unit as a little celebration of the country.
